Report to the President on Issues Raised by the Virginia Tech Tragedy

The Advocacy Committee:

• Identifies policy and legislative issues impacting the mental health system

• Educates the Mental Health Connection membership and key stakeholders about such issues

• Facilitates advocacy efforts regarding identified issues

• Recommends policy changes to support the mental health service delivery system when appropriate.
