The Board Development Committee:

Ensures that the Board represents the diversity and balance necessary to enable the Mental Health Connection to provide policy guidance on the broad spectrum of mental health issues in Tarrant County.

Nominates the candidates for new officers and Standing Committee chairpersons.

Reports the proposed slate of officers and at-large members to the membership for approval at the Annual Meeting. Before voting on the proposed slate of officers, additional nominations shall be permitted from the floor.

Plans and implements appropriate orientation and training programs to maximize the capacity of the board members as individual members and as a group.
