Enhance access to behavioral health resources in our community.

ADVOCACY COMMITTEE

Monitor and influence legislative issues and priorities in support of an improved behavioral healthcare system for the people of Tarrant County.

CULTURAL CONNECTION COMMITTEE

Determine strategic immediate and long-term goals for cultural and linguistic competency.

GRANTS COMMITTEE

Collaboratively identify and research funding opportunities in support of an improved behavioral healthcare system.  Committee membership restricted to dues-paying MHC members only.

MEMBERSHIP ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEE

Improve communications and networking among and between Mental Health Connection member agencies, key stakeholders, and our community.

RESILIENCY COMMITTEE

Oversee the implementation of Reaching Teens with sustainable results.

TARRANT CARES GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE

Provide oversight of Tarrant County’s network of care website.

TRAUMA TRANSITION COMMITTEE

Determine and implement strategies to create a trauma informed community.

WORKFORCE COMMITTEE

Build a culturally competent, high-quality behavioral healthcare workforce in our community.

Committees comprised of mental health advocates, professionals, family members and other individuals with special skills are established annually to work toward our goals.
